January 1st, 2011, 23rd Day, First Day of 2011

After a rip roaring New Year's eve, I wasn't sure I could handle any more excitement.  Saturday, we went to the gym and spent the rest of the day taking down Christmas decorations.  I got to watch TCU beat Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl 21-19, and that was a highlight of the day.  At night, we stayed home and played games with Kaylee and her friend Tim.  All in all it was pretty boring, but I enjoy boring sometimes.   Hunter and I went to Aeropostale to use his gift card and he got some nice shirts.   There were such great sales at the mall that we both determined that next year we should just ask for gift cards for Christmas, and then we could take advantage of all the 70% off after Christmas sales!  Things I learned today, 1st, I learned I didn't learn much today because you can't make banana juice out of a turnip (ok, that doesn't make a lot of sense, but hopefully you get my point).  2nd, How do they know that dogs are color blind? (Not really relevant, but that was just something I was wondering today).
